A rare and genuine opportunity to acquire a privately owned Bavaria Vision 42, offered for sale by her sole owner since new. Never chartered, always maintained to the highest private ownership standard, and sailing under German flag with EU VAT paid and all documentation in order. She has been a true owner's yacht from the day she left the factory — and it shows.

The 2-cabin layout makes her the ideal setup for a cruising couple or small family, with a generous storage room where a third cabin would otherwise be. Her condition throughout reflects careful, attentive ownership over more than a decade.

The sail inventory has just been comprehensively renewed by Elvstrøm Sails Mallorca and is effectively brand new: a high-tech offshore-quality furling mainsail with UV protection and sandwich laminate construction, a tri-radial reefing jib with UV protection and e-foam, and a gennaker — all forming part of the smart sailing package with EMS system. The Code 0 was renewed in 2023. There is no sail expenditure required for the foreseeable future.

The boat is extensively equipped for comfortable and capable bluewater cruising. Power management is handled by a 40A three-channel battery charger, with hot water provided via both the engine cooling circuit and 230V shore supply. A generator provides independence from shore power, complemented by air conditioning and diesel heating throughout. A fresh water maker adds further self-sufficiency for extended passages.

Navigation centres on a Garmin system with plotter and the GMI 10 bundle including the GWS 10 mast device covering log, echo sounder, temperature and wind. Autopilot, VHF, GPS and cockpit speakers with Fusion audio complete the electronics fit.

Cockpit comfort is exceptional: electrically height-adjustable and foldable cockpit table with upholstery, seat and backrest cushions, sunpads on the helmsman seat, cockpit shower, teak side decks and cockpit, stainless steel cleats, sprayhood and grey Bimini. Below decks the saloon features an electrically adjustable table, oak woodwork, leatherette upholstery, Oceanline flooring, a light package deluxe with indirect illumination and night light spots, and blinds on all side and panoramic windows. The galley is equipped with a 3-flame gas stove, microwave, and fridge.

Five electric winches and an electric anchor winch with remote control make single or short-handed sailing effortless. The shallow composite keel and composite steering wheels are fitted as specified. A life raft is included in the safety package.
